Mechanical Copyright Protection Services

ALL of our Cd’s are registered and copyrighted with MCPS. This service ensures that  artists receive their correct royalties due by the fee we are charged at registration. MCPS also then grants us permission to record the songs and legally sell our Cd’s by way of a licence, which we can produce at anytime if called upon by an inspector .

Songs written by Neil and Gill Sharman that feature on our Cd’s are also copyright protected by MCPS, which means that anyone who wants to record our songs would also have to go through the same licensing process to obtain permission to use our material.

We are grateful for the services provided by MCPS which protects the music industry, but also takes away all the legal side of things and  allows us to enjoy the songs that we sing, and also allows others to listen. Thank You.
