Our third venture into the recording studio produced our first Christmas album. Our annual Christmas show is a popular event, and this album gave us the chance to record some of the songs that feature in our festive show. My Frost Covered Memories Of Old was written by Neil Sharman and it took several years to write.

“The tune built up in my head in a short space of time, but the words would not come. Some words gradually began fitting into place, but others just would not present themselves. I desperately wanted to perform the song at our next Christmas show, but it didn’t happen. Same again a year later, it just wasn’t finished.

Then as we packed away our Christmas decorations at home in early January, I was looking at the front of each Christmas card as I took it down. Suddenly the song words were there in the pictures and the song was finished. Then I had to wait another full year to sing it at the next Christmas show !”
