About Us

Neil and Gill Sharman have been singing together since 1999. They are both longtime John Denver fans, having listened to his music, watched his video’s and attended his concerts for many years. Through his music they first met and were even married with John Denver songs playing in the church.

 

Neil and Gill perform their shows all over the UK. Most of their shows are done for charity, with occasional private bookings being taken too. In 2007 Neil and Gill began performing under the band name TIMBERWOLF, as more and more of their shows begin to include extra band members, it makes sense to give the band a name !

 

Many of the shows feature the songs of John Denver, though occasionally music by different artists is performed. Runrig, Gill’s Celtic Rock gods, are another band who Neil and Gill like to sing the songs of. Other shows feature a variety of 60’s to present day songs featuring music

by artists such as Simon & Garfunkel, Crystal Gayle, Don McLean, Everly Brothers, Eagles, Patsy Cline, Kenny Rogers, Dolly Parton, Abba,

Eva Cassidy, Bread, to name but a few. More details of other artists on our Musical Influences page.  

The content of each show depends a lot on the individual concert organisers, and what they want. Neil and Gill are happy to have a go

at anything.

 

Neil and Gill and the band Timberwolf are happy to perform Any Time, Any Place, Any Where !

No event is too big or too small, in a big theatre, village hall, someone’s front room or anywhere in between !
