that those who are interested can come along to enjoy the show. We used to produce a printed version of the newsletter, but with over
100 members it was costing us over £400 for each edition in printing and postage costs. This was unsustainable. Not wanting to be beaten or poverty stricken, and thanks to modern Technology, we came up with the idea of an Email newsletter. This is also a greener
option, saving on paper etc.
All newsletters are produced by Gill Sharman. She sends out 4 main newsletters each year. (One for each season.)
anytime there is a newsflash such as a sudden concert appearance that can’t wait until the next newsletter is due,
an extra notice may be sent by email. These are few and far between because we plan well ahead, though even
we don’t know what may be just around the corner. After several experiments at getting our Email newsletter
up and running we now have it set up so that Gill has her own Newsletter Website pages which are only accessible
to mailing list members. Each time a newsletter is ready to view, she sends out an email to the mailing list, with a
Link to the newsletter, which people can then use to view the newsletter and photo’s etc. Simple !!
The E MAIL List is FREE to join. There will never be a membership fee. Our mailing list exists simply to spread news of our forthcoming concerts and events, and to hopefully fill the venue’s on show day. No One likes singing to an empty room !
