Sound Technician and Roadie For Timberwolf & N&GS Concerts.
Also known as Dad !

John Comes from Chapeltown near Sheffield, South Yorkshire. Dad of Neil & Karen,
Father-
spell in hospital.
John worked for most of his life in the steel industry, but is now retired.
He enjoys spending time with his two grand daughters. When Karis and Keira run him ragged he wonders where he ever found time to go to work !!
John has always been actively interested in both Neil and Karen’s hobbies
and interests. He comes from a musical family with many of his nine brothers and sisters being very good singers and musicians. As John tells everyone himself, he cannot play a note ! He has always been involved in Neil’s music, right from the beginning. As new pieces of equipment began arriving he took interest in how to operate them, and as the shows got bigger, and bigger he became involved as official sound technician and recording engineer for N&GS Concerts.
He enjoys being involved in the behind the scene’s activities that occur on
a show day, none more so than when he got to work alongside Pete Huttlinger, Chris Nole and Mack Bailey at the Cleveland concerts of 2005 & 2006.
Working and hanging out with the guys was a pleasure and a privilege, a
highlight, but John just enjoys being out on the road wherever the next show
takes us.
His own hobbies include the world of Horse Racing, where he has in the past been a race horse owner, as part of a syndicate. Constable Burton was the horses name, and though John didn’t have too much success in the winner’s enclosure ‘Bobbie B’ as he was called around the stables did clock up a few wins.
As John celebrated his 60th birthday, a party was arranged with Live music and a disco. Now where did we find a band !!
Neil and Gill performed a string of hits from John’s 60 years and also incorporated a special guest appearance by Constable Burton at the show ! Not the real one of course, but a pantomime horse containing Gill’s sister, Christine at one end and John’s son in law, Chris, at the other end. John did receive a best wishes message at the party from Ann & George Duffield, trainers of Constable Burton.

Thank You Dad for all that you do to help keep our show on the road. It is hard work at times and we really do appreciate everything that you do.
Love from Neil & Gill xx.
