Neil’s first ever visit to the Netherlands, and Gill’s first appearance at Denver Dag for ten

years, proved to be a very memorable occasion for us at Timberwolf. Renewing old friendships

and meeting new friends on a very special day, at a very special occasion. It was also an opportunity for us to meet face to face with people that we had only previously had contact with via Facebook.

We enjoyed singing for everyone, and also enjoyed seeing Rene Wingelaar, Jerry Kooyman,

Mark Robinson and Mary Waddington take to the stage for their performances, all of which were excellent. It was our pleasure to be a part of such a memorable occasion, and we hope

that we are able to repeat the trip again sometime in the not too distant future.

Special thanks to Carla for putting us up for the night, or should that be for putting up with

us for the night !!! The guitar came back out at her place, and the music went on into the night !

     Our trip to The Netherlands to perform at

 The World Of John Denver’s Denver Dag Event

All your hospitality ! After all too short a time it was time to say our goodbye’s and head for our next stop,

The Botel, floating hotel in Amsterdam, for a couple of days before catching our ferry home.

All in all a wonderful trip. Good food, great beer and wine, fantastic friends, a brilliant Denver Dag event full of great music, fun and friendship. The sight seeing was amazing. We really enjoyed seeing Apeldoorn, Alkmaar, The Windmills, Amsterdam and Volendam. All too soon it was time to board the overnight ferry home. Our crossing from Hook of Holland took us back to Newcastle for our drive home.

We look forward to returning to visit our friends in the Netherlands someday soon ! Thank You All for a great welcome and for your hospitality.
